SALVATORE CUOMO & BAR Ningyōchō — Restaurant in Tokyo

Went and found this spot just up from the hotel we are staying at. Warmly greeted as we came in and were pleasantly surprised by how large the inside was. Ordered our drinks and food and it was there within minutes. Extremely tasty pizza and a side of chips. The atmosphere was very lively for a Sunday night, though a touch loud with a couple of tables but they were having fun so it did not bother too much. In the end with 4 highballs, 2 desserts, the pizza and side of chips was under 12000yen. Which I thought was very good value. Definately recommend, we will be going back to try...

Tasty but very expensive and they are not attentive to the customers. The portion was small. This cost 1900 yen with McDonald’s quality service. The man even started to clean up the table putting unused oshibori back into the tray for the next customer. Silverware in a tray is unhygienic and frankly for the price of the small lasagna I won’t be back. Service was simply lacking. Customers shouldn’t need to nearly beg to pay nor get water...

Lunch is an Italian buffet with fresh vegetables, starters, pizza, pasta and desserts. The menu changes daily to keep things interesting for repeat visitors. While some of the pastas and pizzas lose their freshness over time, the desserts and salads are well prepared. At ¥1,870 (including tax), the value for money is excellent.
