Katsuya Shinjuku South Exit Store — Restaurant in Tokyo

Food is fine but the service is the worst experience I had in Osaka. Ruined my good impression of this city. There was this guy waiter couldn’t bother to serve us. Left our table before completing my order. Threw glasses on my table slashing water out. When I went to pay bill, he just stood there giving me a blank look until I figured out that I had to give him the invoice printed. He could have just say so right ?

Tapped the cash machine rudely asking me to insert the money.

He said greetings to Japanese customers but not me. I guess He thought I m a foreigner so didn’t deserve it.

Overall, a very unpleasant experience. Recommendation to others? NO!

A small fried-katsu eatery with about 14 seats available for dine-in. Pretty comfortable despite the small counter, and a lot of condiments to choose from. Portion size is good for its price but menu items were mostly pork with the exception of 4 chicken options. The chicken katsu and karaage were really crispy and tasty on its own, the cabbage paired really well with the roast sesame sauce provided, and the miso soup had a lot of ingredients (including pork). An inexpensive place to grab a quick bite for when you're in a hurry. The staff are attentive and friendly. There is no English menu but there are pictures for the majority of the items.
