Traveled to Japan in October and our last stay before going home was in Asakusa. This was a small restaurant we passed by while roaming the streets for dinner and the food was so good that we had to come back the next day for lunch. The chef was super friendly and instantly got Google translate to let us know of the daily special and if we were interested to try that out. The food was superb and the attention to detail was amazing. Our only regret was that we came upon this place at the end of the trip, otherwise, we would have had lunch/dinner there daily. All the staff were extremely kind and friendly and the restaurant had a very warm community feel with the staff laughing and chatting with their customers. My spoken japanese is terrible, however they really appreciated what little we could manage and were very accomodating.
