Traveled to Japan in October and our last stay before going home was in Asakusa. This was a small restaurant we passed by while roaming the streets for dinner and the food was so good that we had to come back the next day for lunch. The chef was super friendly and instantly got Google translate to let us know of the daily special and if we were interested to try that out. The food was superb and the attention to detail was amazing. Our only regret was that we came upon this place at the end of the trip, otherwise, we would have had lunch/dinner there daily. The lunch specials offered a lot of food for the price. Highly recommended to anyone who wants to have fresh seafood as they get their fish daily from the fish market.

Went here as it was close to where we were staying and we had an amazing experience. All the staff were extremely kind and friendly and the restaurant had a very warm community feel with the staff laughing and chatting with their customers. My spoken japanese is terrible, however they really appreciated what little we could manage and were very accomodating. We sat at the counter and watched as the chef prepared our sushi, the end result was incredible. The tone was set as the first piece of sushi melted in our mouths and it only got better from there. Everything was extremely fresh and very reasonably priced and the experience felt truly authentic.

Nice low-key sushi restaurant. We were one of two parties at 5:30. The sushi chef was very friendly and knew enough English to answer some questions about the sushi, and the menu also has some English. Although the set menus aren't translated, there are photos! For dinner, we spent 3.5k yen per person and were not quite full. Credit card was accepted. It was a very friendly and relaxed vibe and we had a great experience! The eel and tuna were delicious.
