Restaurant that specializes in beef tongue which can sound strange especially if you are not familiar with Asian food but definitely worth checking out. The restaurant has a nice setting on the 13th floor with a quiet, elegant ambience. We ordered the standard beef tongue set, and another set which had the 3 cuts of different beef tongue. The standard set had a nice chewy texture, but the thick cut of beef tongue has a slight chew before almost melting in your mouth - almost like a wagyu effect. Each set comes with barley rice, ox tail broth, pickled vegetables, miso okra, and tororo, which is a grated yam dish that is made with dashi. I believe the tororo is typically mixed with hot rice and soya sauce and is supposed to be healthy but it was a bit too slimy for our tastes. Ox tongue is tender and yummy despite a little salty. Ox tongue soup is also delicious. Quite appreciate the sticky Japanese yam, good for our health.
