Well, it was nothing short of my lucky night that I found this place. I was walking around aimlessly although I had the goal of escaping touristy Shinjiku to find a place for dinner that was frequented by locals. It was a good 45 minute walk but I knew I was close when I started seeing restaurants that didn’t accept credit cards. Even thought like most tourists, I had no cash on me.
That was just a long preamble to say I found Ramen Tomo in a quiet part of town, away from tourists and exploding in taste and flavor. The ticket ordering system was standard, the service was excellent and the food was incredible.
