I was looking for a good sushi experience in my short day layover in Tokyo and this place fit the bill. Chef Tetsuka was a disciple at the famed Kyubey sushi in Ginza.
Easy, no frills reservation online via Table Check - something most restaurants in Japan don't even offer. Reviews look good, I don't see any bad experience by foreigners and I truly felt welcome by the chefs and the service crew on the day itself. The crew all speak English too.
Absolute value for money omakase lunch and beautiful ceramics - if you're a drinker please get sake here and they will let you pick a cute ceramic for this. I didn't even like a few fish that were served but because of the freshness and quality of ingredients, the chef changed my mind about certain fish for the better.
