Hidden bar in Ginza down a flight of stairs. It is about a 15-minute walk from Hibiya Station.
As others have said, the atmosphere is fantasy themed. Think vials of magic potions, skeleton key chandeliers, butterflies fluttering overhead.
The cocktail menu has a whimsical assortment of flavor profiles. We did not make a reservation, so we were seated by the bar.
Would recommend making a reservation so you can sit at one of the chairs and enjoy the atmosphere instead of being shunted into the tiny stools at the bar with everyone brushing up against your back when they walk across the narrow aisle.
I can corroborate the other reviews about the music—it simply did not fit the theme and detracted from the experience, in my opinion. Though the music selection was good, it did not have a place in this fairy tale bar. It was deep hip hop music.
The servers were polite; they don’t really make an effort to make small talk or anything. Good if you prefer to enjoy your drink in peace.
Would come back again maybe to try their cafe menu.

Read moreCame in with a happy mood left with anger. Walked over because of the good reviews on google, nice setup and environment as we walk down the stairs and surprise how nice it is. However there is no one at the designated waiting area (no sign, no one at the door, and it was quite dark, only few high chairs on the side.) so we walked in hoping to look for someone to take seats. The waitress came up with a bad attitude to tell us to go out and wait at the waiting area outside, as the bar look quite full at the moment and we did. After 5 mins or more long waiting still no one came out to tell us whether we should keep waiting or how long is the wait. So we stood at the curtains (didn’t even step into the bar) peaking into the bar hoping someone will notice us. Instead, she walked out again with a super rude tone this time, tell us to get out and wait on the high chairs. NEVER come back again no matter how...
Read moreI really wanted to like this bar. It has such a fun theme and decor. But sadly, the experience did not live up to my expectations. There is a ¥1000 cover charge per person. Not outrageous, but a factor overall in my rating. We were seated promptly, informed of the cover charge, and we ordered our drinks. Let me also state that I understand a lot of Japanese, and no Japanese were informed of any cover charge... though this may be known by those customers. Perhaps they're regulars. But then we were a bit ignored by the staff. My drink was ¥1500 and in a martini glass, but it had a giant ice cube in it... probably to take up space usually reserved for liquor. I just felt like the vibe was not all that great after all. We left and went somewhere closer to Shimbashi Station filled with fun loving Japanese regulars and felt instantly at home. I'd say it's really cool for the decor, but otherwise...
