Looking for a timeless café experience in the heart of Ginza? Tricolore delivers a classic atmosphere with a touch of elegance that instantly transports you to another era. With its retro-style interior and calm music playing in the background, this café is perfect for those who appreciate a slower, more refined coffee break.
The service was warm and attentive, and everything we tried was delicious! The iced café au lait is prepared right in front of you in true old-school fashion—watching the process is half the fun, and it tastes just as good as it looks!
The highlight for us, though, was the orange savarin—a soft sponge cake soaked in orange syrup and alcohol. Rich, fragrant, and perfectly balanced. It’s a dessert that leaves a lasting impression!
One thing to note: Tricolore is quite popular, and you’ll likely have to wait 30–60 minutes to get a seat during peak hours. But don’t let that stop you! Grab a ticket and explore the nearby Ginza streets while you wait—trust us, it’s worth every minute.

We also ordered their signature apple pie (delicious since the apple bits are plenty and crust crispy) and their cheese tart (quite normal like usual cheese tarts). The desserts are priced slightly below 1,000 yen each.

We ate the two alternately and sipped the coffee. The tastes...
