This tiny tempura restaurant in Tsukiji was recommended by one of the Japanese restaurant guides. When I entered the restaurant, a man, who I later realised a friend of the master, was sitting at the counter.
I ordered the lunch set, [moon]. Frankly, the quality of the tempura was good, in particular, a tempura of a fresh egg which I never had.
However, the attitude of the master was really disappointing. He and his friend were busy chatting and talking about the dates of their plans in the future. I eventually got to know what his friend does.
While he was chatting, the master was cooking my order one by one and he did not tell me what he was providing me unless I asked him what it would be.
