We had a great sushi dinner here, the chef’s choice (omakase) at 4500 yen, which made us all very satisfied. The chef and proprietress asked about our tastes along the way and we said yes to everything, but it was still nice to be asked. The lunch menu is less expensive, but we were there for dinner, hence the higher prices. It was good value for the money. It was so delicious that it makes me want to stop eating sushi in my hometown (especially now that my favorite sushi chef there closed his restaurant and retired).
It was plain, clean, and friendly inside, all about the food, not about the decor. In the back the tv was on, covering Ohtani’s latest game.
This was my second trip to Tsukiji in many years of coming to Japan. We chose this restaurant almost randomly, as it was the first that came up when I put the two words into Google Maps (we also looked at other options). We left with umbrellas up and weren’t bothered again...
Read moreFound this when wandering through Ginza looking for a nice authentic sushi place to try our first bout of real sushi in Japan. When we walked in around 8pm, an hour from closing, it was quiet yet that didn't stop the chef and server from giving us above and beyond service especially considering we are Canadian tourists with little to no Japanese knowledge. Plates had a wide array of different sushi items, as well as amazing miso soup. Would recommend to anyone who wants to get out of the big downtown of Ginza and wants a mind blowing sushi experience. If we had more time in Tokyo, we would likely be...
Read moreWe stumbled upon this place whilst exiting Tsukiji fish market due to how busy it was. We went in around 12:30pm (so prime time lunch) and it was completely empty. We looked at the reviews and saw that it was decent and their pricing was much more affordable compared to the other stores. The sushi was so fresh and one of the best I’ve had for the price. The lunch set was around 1900yen and the omakase set was around 3800yen. Highly recommend if you’re tired of the busy lines in...
