Tsukiji Tamasushi offers a satisfying sushi experience with both positives and a few minor considerations. The quality of the sushi is commendable, showcasing fresh ingredients that elevate the dining experience. The lively ambiance creates a bustling and vibrant atmosphere, contributing to a sense of liveliness.

However, it's worth noting that this quality comes at a price, and Tsukiji Tamasushi falls on the higher end of the cost spectrum. While the ambiance is lively, it might not be the ideal spot for those seeking a quiet dining experience.

The rice, a crucial element in sushi, had a slightly hard texture, which might not appeal to everyone's taste. Additionally, some pieces of fish had noticeable hard parts, which could be a minor drawback.

Overall, it's a worthwhile visit for those seeking a lively and great sushi experience...

I am a Korean housewife who has lived in Japan for a long time. When I went to lunch with an acquaintance on Tuesday, I asked for extra pickled ginger , and the person who was watching the Whole Serving brought me a lot. When he brought it to me, I heard the sound of exchanging eyes with other chefs, but I just pretended not to know. I didn't think I could finish it, but it's not polite to leave it so we ate all. He came to check the dishes and took the dish, and I heard that he was giggling with other elderly chefs, and he said"see? They ate all of that cause he's Korean.korean dyng for wasabi and gioger. It was very unpleasant. Isn't it 2022 and Takashima A DeP a place of pride to compete with Isetan? Older chefs and Whole Serving are very unpleasant with the exchange of eyes and laughing at the man, and I understand what kind of values u have. I wanted to protest there, but I held it in cause I was afraid it would be a nuisance to the other tables. Soon, there will be a lot of tourists coming in japan so I would like to share information on a big Korean website cause I don't think dont need to go to a place that has attitude and values like that . Tourists preparing to travel to Japan should also know this. Don't erase the review.

This sushi restaurant is famous, but the wait is long. We could only take a number to wait, and 30 minutes later we were seated. It’s situated in a mall, so you can walk around while you wait for you number to be called. you can also pick between sitting at a table or at a bar.

While eating is quick, taking orders and service was a little slower which probably attributed to the long wait times.

As for the food, everything was delicious. So glad we decided last minute to order the tamago egg as it was one of the highlights. Browned on the bottom, sweet, warm, and flavorful. We also got squid, and a squid and...

There was a Japanese line, hence I thought why not try these with the locals. As a tourist, was asked to be seated at the sushi bar, which I do not mind. The Japanese hospitality and respect is there - I appreciate they gave me the English menu and gave me enough space - not to be seated next to someone (who chitchats or small talk- which I dislike). Tried the recommendation for the day, sushi was delectable but not as awesome in the Hokkaido market. Maybe I should do the Tsukiji market instead. The price is affordable and wasn't satisfied so I ordered another set, which is pretty standard to be honest.
