We had just gotten off a 14.5 hour flight and had trekked all the way from Haneda and gotten checked in to our hotel. We were starving and were lucky to find this lovely tempura place nearby. The food was delicious and they were so kind and patient with my beginner-level Japanese. If I lived here I would be at this restaurant all the time.

A fine classic tempura restaurant near Tsukiji market using high-quality seafood with friendly service. I had tempura donburi or “tendon” which comes with clam miso soup and pickles -the usual sides but there's also tempura set if you want the regular tempura. I had a great overall experience, no complaints.

この日は会社の同僚とさくっとランチ。美味しいという天ぷら屋に訪問してみました。お店の名前はつきじ天辰本店。場所は中央区築地7というところ。築地市場からは少し離れたところにこちらはありました。店内はカウンターとテーブル席で１７，８くらい。仕切りはあったけど私たちはテーブル席に案内されました。天丼なんかもある中で今回は黄身のっけ定食を注文。こちらはエビ、キス、野菜三品、黄身のかき揚げ丼、みそ汁、香の物の構成との事。上ってのもあったけど初訪問やしこちらでいいかなー。しばらく待って提供されたのがこちら。おー、なかなかのボリューム感やねー。かき揚げ丼だけでもいい感じだけど天ぷらが美味しそうです。天ぷらは揚げたてで衣がサクサクとしてます。大根おろしたっぷりのツユにつけて食べるとあっさりと食べられます。エビもプリっとしてたけど私はキスが好きやったかな。続いて黄身のかき揚げ丼。黄身の天ぷらと小エビのかき揚げなんだけど卓上にあるタレをかけて食べます。この黄身の天ぷらが箸でわると中からじゅわっと黄身がご飯に広がってきます。かき揚げを絡めてもいいし、ご飯とだけ食べてもよい。これ旨いやないですか！赤出汁もしっかりとした味付けでいい箸休めになったし、ボリュームも満点で腹いっぱいになりました。この店は全然知らなかったけどいいお店でした。また違う料理も食べに訪問してみたいと思います。

I had one of best Japanes food experiences in this small and warm restaurant specialised in tempura. Also sashimi selection was excellent. We have been attended with care and the lady explained us patiently how to enjoy better the tempura, using some herbs, salt and sauce with rice. Delicious.. Also quantities are generous, so we have overeat a bit... I definetly reccomend...
