Exceptionally good quality sushi right outside Tsukiji hidden in the basement of a quiet building. We came at 12pm and wait 1 hr for 1pm round. You have to stay in the line but they have small chairs. Waiting time went by fast since we spent 30 mins carefully picking our sushi but honestly just order everything because they are extremely fresh and delicious.

Inside is a small and very intimate standing sushi bar with just one chef. The fish were super fresh and high quality with a warm and perfectly seasoned rice. My favorite bites were shima aji, bafun uni, bonito, kinmedai and tsubugai.

One of the best sushi i’ve tried here and definitely worth the long wait. It is quite affordable for the quality but still a bit expensive compared to other standing sushi bar. Our bill was ¥8000-¥9000 per person. Would recommend to just make a reservation online where the minimum spend is ¥11,000. The menu also has English translation but it’s a bit hard to understand. Best to show picture from their IG or tell the Japanese name of the fish to staff who were also friendly to foreigner and...

Simple, solid, and straightforward standing sushi bar.

Just choose from a list of nigiri on offer that day before you enter, and wait until they let you in.

Overall I feel you get what you pay for. Not the most amazing, but definitely good to great pieces depending on what’s in season.

Rice/shari was a bit on the acidic side, but in general, great option for no fuss, enjoyable sushi lunch/dinner.

Paid around JPY 7,000 - 8,000 for 12...

Best nigiri for a long time! You can see the sushi master creating each single order with skill and passion. No need of soja sauce or wasabi simply eat as is and enjoy. Great sake also. We will surely come back. And you don’t feel you are standing so much you enjoy a unique experience. Exactly the opposite of sushi chain. Tailor made and unique. Restaurant is on the basement.
