We visited on a weekday around 1pm, we were luck that we did not need to wait. After we finished eating, there was long lineup. I had lunch omakase set, the highest grade one. Sushi was amazing, it basically comes with what they serve on that day, on top of that, I got to order 2 sushi I want. I got middle fat toro and uni. Uni costed extra, but actually the toro was a lot better than the uni. My another favorites were Botan shrimp and squid. They were both fresh and sweet. It was nice sushi for very reasonable price. If you are expecting special, luxurious Japanese sushi experience, this may not be for you. The store is quite small, the atmosphere was more for eat and leave type of restaurant than enjoy sushi with nice Japanese sake. Also, if you come from North America, Edo style sushi place like sushi Dai does not serve salmon sushi so just be aware. Also, they did not accept credit card for lunch, you must pay cash. If you are around Tsukiji market and looking for a quick bite, you should definitely...

Nice sushi restaurant hidden in a Tsukiji calm block. The “otoro” sashimi was one of the best I ever tasted (I have been eating sushi for almost 4 decades so far ). Prices are honest, for the equivalent of U$ 25-35 you eat, drink and enjoy! Update: as I live nearby, we used to go frequently but we stop due bad service; we don’t know exactly the reasons they are usually rough. But last time they were rude on us because we were ten minutes late to pick up our order: “from now on we don’t accept orders from you anymore”. I got stuck at Narita Airport waiting for a friend (the one I did the order for), couldn’t answer their call from the road. Yes, we were wrong, but consequences were on us provided...

The sushi was good quality. The course price was more expensive than I thought for Tsukiji (¥3080) for lunch time. For about 12 sushi. But you can choose your lunch course.

But the fish 🐠 was fresh. Different variations of sushi 🍣 I had at the counter. The place was very demanded. But the staff wasn’t pleasant when I was trying to take photos of the restaurant by telling me they don’t want me to take photos is the customers when they are all face their back….

It’s about 6 minute walk from Tsukiji station....
