Tucked back a few streets from the street Ueno station is on in a indistinct building, you'll find a very good Yakiniku restaurant with incredible meat.

We went at 5:30 on a Sunday and nobody else was there which considering the area was brilliant for us.

iPad ordering, service was incredibly fast and the sanchu fresh and cucumber dish was good.

The meat, wagyu kalbi and the assortment, EXACTLY what we wanted.

After reading reviews of crowded traveller tourist traps, I was happy to find a place about the meat.

Fuji Yakiniku is the best YAKINIKU Restaunt in Ueno, Tokyo, for a great dining experience. The Chef and staff are super friendly and competent, and the atmosphere is casual and comfortable. The food product is made from high-quality healthy ingredients. The food is amazingly delicious and very health-consciously prepared. Fuji Yakiniku is a place I can count on to bring my friends, family, and guests to and know they will enjoy it. We went right after opening hours on a Friday without reservations and managed to get a table. English menu available in QR code; scan and view via your mobile.
