After passing this place on foot earlier and being intrigued by the vibes, we walked back for more lowkey drinks after dinner in Ameyoko. I'm SO glad we did.

The most apt word I would use to describe this bar is: CURATED. The music, the drinks, the glassware, the decor... everything is intentional and immaculate. The staff were attentive, kind, and accommodating.

Drinks were AMAZING. We had several, from cocktails to straight whiskey, and I couldn't be happier with the selection and mix. The authentic carved ice added a great touch.

We found this place within walking distance of our hotel on the first night. After 24 hours of travel it was a welcome site. The hosts were warm and welcoming and despite the language barrier, we were able to have a nice evening and I was able to try out some Japanese phrases in a comfortable environment. We tried both whiskey and beer drinks. Everything was outstanding. The vinyl playing was just right and we were introduced to a Japanese singer whose music we loved.

We stopped in again, three days later and our host remembered us, and it was very kind again, walking us to the door & thanking us for coming. We will consider this forever ‘our...
