Overall a good bbq experience. The staff were all kind ansehen helped us to grill some items! Especially the more complicated items like the tongue or the beef slices with onion. The food itself was good. I would’ve appreciated if the meat came without a sauce or a sauce at the side so I could decide myself if the meat has the slightly sweet taste of the sauce or not. However, everything came already laying in the sauce. My favourite was probably the beef tongue and the Wagyu. Unfortunately, the loin was sold out. The best side was the coleslaw, 5 stars for it! My partner and I have had dinner here twice in the last week, the selection of meat is big and the quality is very high. The salads such as kimchi and cucumber kimchi are also a must try!

The staff greet you with a friendly hello and smile, including the multiple chefs preparing the food/cuts of meat at the rear of the restaurant.

I would also like to add that the staff speak relatively good english which makes someone like myself who can only speak english, comfortable when ordering and asking any questions etc.

My family and I love this yakiniku restaurant and will definitely come back if we are in Tokyo again. We ordered the thick cut tongue (salt) and wagyu short ribs (Karubi) multiple times because the texture and flavour of the meat was amazing.

The staff were very friendly and they grilled some of the meat which we really appreciated as we were not very familiar with how long certain meats take.

This place really live up to it’s name (Yakiniku Happy) cos good food really makes one very happy, and it’s no wonder this place is packed with locals.
