We came in not expecting much due to the rating but we were pleasantly suprised at the quality of the food. The items that really blew our minds us were he chicken neck, kinkan, and espescially the chicken ramen. The chicken neck yakitori was juicy, crispy, flavourful, and had a wonderful bite to it. The kimkan, which is an embryo of a chicken that is gently roasted outside wrapped in seaweed accompanied with a bit of wasabi was divine, exploding in my mouth, coating it with rich, creamy and umami golden liquid. Finally, the chicken broth ramen. The broth was so rich and flavourful, and you could tell it was boiled for a long time by the gelatinous texture of the soup and the way it coated your mouth. In addition to the amazing food the place has a warm, cozy vibe to it. Not to mention the inpeccable foreigner friendly service by the staff, as they all speak English. I would also like to mention the "boss", who is a charming, handsome and knowledgeable host who made the experience all the more unforgettable. It was truly a delectable experience, absolutely...
Read moreHands down the best chicken yakitoris we ever had. At first, we thought the skewers were a little pricier than most places, but after trying a couple skewers, we had to order more. Each skewer was charcoal grilled to perfection. Our favorite were the chicken thigh and the chicken butt (surprising, i know). But it was honestly the perfect combo of crunchy on the outside, juicy on the inside. The owner was also super friendly. We were seated in a tiny corner at first when we came in, but later on spots opened up and he offered to switch us to the bar sitting where we could see the chefs in action! Much better atmosphere from then on. Also, there is a 1 drink minimum per person, and if you order ramen, they serve you that at the very end after you are done ordering all the rounds of skewers. They do take about 20 mins to cook each round. Overall, they utilize the chicken parts very well and there were some unique chicken parts...
Read moreWalked in at around 6pm and they immediately asked if i have a reservation. I didn’t, but the good thing was, they will let you in and inform you that you can stay only until 8pm. Not a prob since i just want to eat dinner.
Great food - one of the best yakitoro i’ve tasted and great service! The staffs were really accommodating. They cooked the egg as per request 🍳 since i don’t like to eat it raw over rice. The non-alcoholic drink i ordered (white grape juice) was served in a fancy glass wine.. was a really nice touch. Felt like a fine dining xp 🤭
Highly recommended bbq place if you want to splurge a bit. Quality food and top notch service 👌🏼 Arigatou...
