Yoshimaru — Restaurant in Tokyo

This was a good bowl of tonkotsu ramen. I came here for a late lunch around 1:30pm and the place was just starting to become more quiet. Unlike other ramen restaurants with the ticket dispensing machine, this one has tables and there is one person taking orders. This person also has to operate the cashier and also clean the tables. She is very busy. When I arrived she was busy with the cashier and there were empty bowls of ramen on each of the tables This must be tough.

Anyway, I orderes the spicy ramen (karakamen) for 950yen and added a mentaiko rice for maybe 200 yen. The ramen was good and I enjoyed the meal. The broth is flavorful but nothing too extraordinary. It is a good bowl of ramen.

I dont know why people have it low score, it is a no frill, fast food ramen place where locals go. I ordered the Black ramen with pork and I must say it is very good. Noodles are al dente, pork is not too fatty and the egg I ordered was buttery.
