This store in particular has a lot of natural light and comfortable chairs, and feels private even with such an open layout.

Food isn’t anything special beyond your Japanese standard of toast, pasta, or a sandwich main. Drinks are tasty and much more varied, though.

The customer service is exceptional. I tried to ask a question about outlet availability in very broken Japanese and once the hostess understood, she ran around half the restaurant pointing out where I can sit.

If you’re in the Yamate area and want something nice but simple for a coffee, skip the nearby Starbucks...

元町の商店街にあるカフェです。山下公園や中華街より離れていること、元町の商店街は特に休日は観光客や買い物客で混雑するものの他にも多くのカフェがあることから、休日でも混雑する、という程ではありません。店内は広く外からの光もふんだんに取り入れているため明るく、横浜観光やショッピングの休憩の利用に最適です。喫煙室及び電源コンセントが備わっている席もあります。 元町川岸通りを歩いていればすぐに分かるサインを掲げていますが、一方で入り口がやや分かりづらいです。スタッフの接客態度は概ね良好ですが、個々の質の差が大きいように思います。非常に丁寧な接客をする一方で、ぞんざいな配膳をするスタッフも見受けられます。それは料理にも見られ、一部の料理はかなり熱い状態で給仕され、すぐには食べられず冷めるのを待って食べました。 明るく居心地のいい雰囲気のカフェであるだけに、いくつか残念な点が見られます。

This cafe is located in the shopping district of Motomachi. Although it is far away from Yamashita Park and Chinatown, and although the Motomachi shopping street is crowded with tourists and shoppers especially on holidays, it is not so crowded even on holidays because there are many other cafes in the area. The interior of the cafe is spacious and bright with plenty of light from the outside, making it a perfect place to take a break from sightseeing or shopping in Yokohama. There are smoking rooms and some seats are equipped with power outlets. The sign is easily recognizable if you are walking along Motomachi Kawagishi Dori, but on the other hand, the entrance is somewhat confusing. The customer service attitude of the staff is generally good, but there seems to be a large difference in the quality of each individual. Some staff members are very polite, while others are careless in their delivery of food. Some of the dishes were served very hot and we had to wait for them to cool down before we could eat them. Good traditional cafe, Japanese Jyun Kissa. Floor is large and available to relax. Clean and many tables, Good coffee. Smoking room is separated. Credit card and cashless payment are available. After re arranging floor, seat quality seems to be lower, though quantity is increased.
