Starbucks Coffee - Yokohama Motomachi — Restaurant in Yokohama

This Starbucks at the end of motomachii near the motomachi/chukakai train station. Not a lot of seating so you have to get there early or get lucky to find a table that opens up. The bathroom is around the corner not in the venue. It's your typical Starbucks though, same food same coffees. On the weekends a lot of people sit out front with their dogs and pets and you can walk by and see all the animals. You can park in front of the venue but there's only like a space for four or five cars so it fills up quick. There's an international school very close so after school you'll get a big group of international kids in there so not a lot of space...

I have been to this location a few times and I always get good professional friendly service here. Today tried the Néw Frappuccino that premiered October 11 2024. It was strawberry and blueberry and was red white and blue. I asked for just a smidge of whipped cream. It had cookie crumble on top. It was good and a tall is plenty to try since personally it was very sweet. I love how in Japan though they are always offering new special Frappuccino flavors. This location is clean and well located. I’m surprised by the overall low rating since I have always had a good experience here. Closer to 4.5 however...

Gift cards are a scam here... example, if you have 400 left on a gift card, and your total is 500, they won't let you pay with the 400 on your gift card plus 100 yen, instead you must add 1000 to your gift card, then leaving you right back where you started after purchase with a gift card balance and unable to use it up. Even explaining in Japanese to them what you want to do they are unable... don't waste your money. It's not like a real Starbucks- crowded, nowhere to plug in laptop or do any type of work or read... tables are crammed all next to each other and chairs are very uncomfortable, no...
