The curry here is so good! I got the red beef curry! Just sit on one of the red chairs and place your order when they come. No tables. Eat and go! The queue was long but service was super fast, don’t expect a long wait when you see the line! Moreover, this curry gem offers more than just their fantastic red beef curry! With a wide array of curry options to choose from, there’s something to satisfy every palate. Whether you’re a fan of spicy delights or prefer milder flavors, this place has you covered. The flavors of the red beef curry were rich and aromatic, leaving a lasting impression on my taste buds. What I loved about this eatery is its no-fuss setup – simply pick a red chair, place your order when they come around, and indulge in the delectable dishes they offer. Despite the long queue, the service was impressively quick, ensuring that I didn’t have to wait long to savor my meal. The efficiency of the staff made the whole dining process smooth and enjoyable. It’s a perfect spot for those who prefer a quick and satisfying dining experience without the need for formalities or extensive waiting times. Overall, I highly recommend this place to all curry enthusiasts. The exceptional taste of their red beef curry combined with the variety of other curry options available, the efficient service, and the unique dining setup makes it a must-visit. Whether you’re on a tight schedule or just want to grab a quick bite, this place won’t disappoint. I can’t wait to return and try more of their delightful offerings. Bon appétit!

We ordered red curry beef (45 baht) + water (10 baht). The curry was not super spicy and combined with the coconut milk it was so flavourful (more sweet than savory). I could probably eat 2 plates of rice with the sauce alone. We had tender and chewy beef slices but the curry is truly the star we came here for (hence it's still 5*). I doubt you can choose the spiciness level cuz everything is already cooked like cafeteria but there are condiments you can add on the side. This was the first meal we had in Bangkok and the bar was set high. This no-frill eatery is so popular that you see banners giving directions when you're close because it's hidden in a back alley (go straight coming out of the west Wat Mangkon entrance). There are only a handful of choices so that people can't hold up the line lol. When we arrived at 14:30 on Sunday, there were 1 line for carry out, and one line for "dine in". Lines may seem long but it goes very fast - takes less than 5 minutes to order our food thanks to the simple menu and cafeteria style service. There are only red stools in the alley for "dine in". The lack of tables was kind of fun because you eat with the locals and that's why I gave 5 stars as atmosphere. I'm no curry connoisseur but I would definitely come back and try other curry.

Jek Pui Curry Watched this lady's story and her stall mentioned in @netflix @netflixth Streets Foods of Asia. Finally headed over to Yaowarat (Chinatown) in Bangkok to try it. To get here you go from a tiny alleyway and wouldn't expect the shop to be here. They start selling for takeaway around 1pm and dine in starts around 3pm. I got takeaway. Went for the green curry chicken but ended up also getting the minced chicken with tender bamboo shoots and crab meat in red curry paste. The old man at the counter didn't speak much English but suggested I get the crab 🦀. I am not a big seafood fan but this crab was amazing! Absolutely fresh, very flavorful and perfectly spiced. Got packet of steamed rice and rice vermicelli noodles. My new favourite combo is green curry with rice noodles. Absolutely must have, doesn't disappoint one bit. #bangkok #streetfood #street #netflix #thailand #foodie #food #foodgram

Around 15 mins walk.from Hua Lamphong Station using GPS. Pretty easy to find & will pass by many interesting food places on the way. They've just opened the stall not too long when we get there around 4pm on 12/12/18. Ordered a pork curry & a beef curry both with Chinese sausages. The curry was fantastic! Really thick & buttery but not spicy at all (to me). Pork was soft & tasty without the porky smell which I hate, beef was a little overcooked & chewy. Chinese sausage was fried & crispy even though it was drenched by the curry. It was an interesting experience to sit on a chair eating by the roadside without any table. The boss speaks pretty good Mandarin so ordering was very easy. Total for all the food was only ฿100. Highly recommended & I will definitely go back again when I'm back in Bangkok.

Accidentally encountered that stall after coming out from Wat Mangkon Kamalawat temple. There is a crowd queuing for buying package. When I approached, I had been asked if eating or togo. And very friendly uncle introduced me with 2 type of curries & other add on. Omg.. I tell you, it’s really really reasonable price for a meal ever I had in Bangkok during past 3 days. Just 60 Baht for a plate. Curry is quite tasty. Too bad, I stay quite far from China town. Else, I will try every dishes there until I fly back. Btw, if you use to meet uncle who take order from tourist, pls let him know I am not Chinese though I look like Chinese. He can use English instead of Chinese to me😂. Just regret he didn’t introduce me crab curry.. or I heard wrongly..

We saved this place in our pocket list for quite a while. Since our target Thai massage in the same neighborhood closed on that day, we got the chance to try it. If you want to have it there, you can find a seat ( red stool ) and make orders with the staff. On the other hand, you need to queue up to take out. Being pescatarians, we ordered the green curry with fish balls and water. The curry was spicy to me, but the braised egg was tasty. The sweet flavor makes the whole bite more smooth. My partner gave a like to the curry and rice, and she thought it was a tasty and worth for money. Well, it cost us only 50baht for this comfort food. Recommend to visitors who have plans to Chinatown. ( and you can go to temples nearby)
