I get a hot espresso for 30,000 kip. The coffee tastes good. I also got the mekong river fish noodle soup for 80,000. It was pricey but better quality than the typical noodle soup one gets around town. The place has a faded, slightly decrepit, old fashioned vibe. Maybe it was built by the French back in the day. It's kept well chilled and has free WiFi. There are some tables, shaded by trees and umbrellas, street side. It's patronized by well to do locals and, of course, tourists. The service has been fine. This time I had a chance to try at its homeland, Lao. Really good coffee. Taste exactly the same as I used to have in BKK (that means they can keep up the same standard for their oversea branches) but much lower price.
