Manolo’s Taco Bar — Restaurant in Luang Prabang

Mexican food has always been severely lacking in Laos, so I was delighted to find this spot is doing things mostly right. The margaritas are perfect. The roasted red salsa was great. We tried the Birria Tacos and Beef Bean Burrito, and liked them both. Everything they're doing is made with homemade flour tortillas for now, except the corn chips which they use El Charro from Thailand. I'm not a fan of El Charro. Better go with Danitas. But I met the owner and she said she plans to get some homemade corn tortillas going soon. The menu is pretty limited. Most notably missing are enchiladas. So yeah, some room for improvement, but overall, I think this little gem has a bright future, and I wish them...

From Mexican appetizers like antojitos to dishes like fajitas, quesadillas, tacos, and burritos, this restaurant offers an authentic taste of traditional Mexican cuisine.

l ordered the "Tres Amigos," which includes tacos flled with pork, chicken, and picadillo. You can enjoy them with your choice of sauce and accompanying vegetables. It's a perfect way to fully experience the authentic flavors of Mexico.

However, since the restaurant is open to the outside, it can be hot during the rainy season.
