Located near morning market. Riverfront.
This place has not so many menus. The highlight dishes are Luang Prabang’s style porridge with pork ribs, shiitake, dry shrimp, and dry squid so flavorful and others is beef noodle (khao piek).
We also order paatongko (fried bread), soft boiled eeg, and local coffee which also perfect for the morning.
Despite the good river view table. Cleanliness of the place I’d rate 2/5. Service 4/5....
Read moreGreat place for local breakfast which is pretty popular with locals as well. Can see the increase in tourists (like myself) checking the place out too. The rice soup is fantastic and it’s broth is rich in taste. Don’t hesitate to add the dough fritters and some chilli paste into the food!
The Lao coffee is similar to the viet one but smoother in my opinion if taken without condensed milk.
Prices are cheap but not sure if there’s price difference between locals...
