The food at this cafe was good. Went with two friends, who also quite enjoyed their meals. Few vegan options available. I had the Khao Soi soup without pork. They did not have anything (tofu or mushrooms) to replace it with. Price was still the same.
As a vegan, I probably wouldn’t have eaten here in the first place had I not been with friends. Maybe they can add some vegan options to the menu.
Despite the restaurant being almost empty when we visited, the service was very slow. Combined with the traditional music playing in the background (which was nice, don’t get me wrong) the place gave off somewhat of a sleepy vibe to be honest.

Read moreWent with a couple friends because we were looking for some authentic Lao food. And we found it! The atmosphere was excellent and felt like a traditional cafe/restaurant. The coffee was very delicious. I got the fried fish and it came with a delicious tomato and vegetable sauce. The fish was one of the best I had in Laos. The prices were reasonable (as in what youd expect for a restaurant in Laos). Plus the restaurant overlooks a temple which is really beautiful!
