Good restaurant for a rooftop restaurant. View is not 5/5, although still worth it.

Really enjoyed savignon blanc wine. As a starter we ordered cheese plate - cheese were amazing and the combination of cheese with honey pleasantly surprised us. Also, bread (sooo warm and delicious) and water were free of charge, that is another pleasurable bonus.

For a main dish we order beef steaks with red wine sauce. Sauce was well-balanced, everything was really flavorful, although nothing spectacular - to my taste steaks could be a bit more tender, so 4/5 for the food.

On the minuses: noticed a napkin ring under the neighboring table + to get to the toilet you need to use an elevator to go downstairs (to the 4th floor), which is not convenient.

In total we paid ~100eur per 2 people (starters, main dish, wine) as of August 2023, that is average restaurant price in Riga currently. Overall, I would recommend coming here, it is a good place to spent a fancy/romantic lunch/dinner. I had vegan cutlets with sweet potato fries and a chocolate cake with herbal tea as a dessert.

Definitely worth a visit. The view over the Old Town rooftops is a lovely sight so best visited at daylight or early evening and the staff is very eager to serve you for anything you need whether it's a chair for your bag or a better seat to watch the sunset.

The menu is pricey and you will want to have a garnish even in meals they're not explicitly stated if you want to dine well, but every dish is done with excellent care and is a masterpiece both in taste and presentation. Prices pretty much match this so be prepared to have to pay for premium here.

Don't forget to tip the service, they're worth it.

The restaurant as a whole is lovely as long as you are seated well. We were seated next to a balcony door and despite the view being lovely we had constant interruptions from guests and staff getting into the balcony through a door that the guests were slamming shut as well as having a chill draft every time the...

The food was average to above average but the service ruined it. The hospitality we received in Latvia was brilliant up until this point.

We had the fillet steak with roasted vegetables which was cooked well.

The service was terrible by both the waiters though. I'm not sure if it was a language issue or they just weren't interested in serving us.

We were on a table they had to walk past consistently to get to the kitchen but they never made eye contact or wanted to serve us.

We had to ask to be served for mains, drinks and deserts. The waiters never said a word to us and just took our orders and left

Again asking for he bill it took a prolonged time to arrive and they brought it over with a card machine without saying a word.

Luckily there was no service charge on the bill as I wouldn't have paid.
