CASA DELLA PASTA - Vilniaus g. 29 — Restaurant in Vilnius

We were visiting this place on the 1st of March. A big group of us. One girl wanted to have truffle pasta. The waitress assured here that that's it, they just changed the recipe, but there were no truffles, unless sprinkled as a spice, but not truffle pasta. The soup was very watery and bland, tiramisu as well, almost swimming in liquid. We left the tiramisu almost not touched on the table while the others were ordering other meals, but no waiter ever asked if it's ok. Then when we wanted to pay our bill and split it. The waitress was extremely annoyed and said it's impossible unless we want to split max 6 ways. We new that's not true. So we insisted and then with a huge sight she said we can, but we will have to come to the till - no problem. When paying one of the girls said to the waitress that the soup was really bad and the main meal was also not nice. The waitress response? "You will be paying cash or card?".

There were 9 of us, we were all Lithuanian. None of us...

Perhaps we were just unlucky as we went on the day before the Vilnius marathon but we had booked… they were turning people away. Large choice of pasta and pizzas and drinks, which included gluten free options. The waiter was super cocky “I only bring large beers for men”, I’ve asked the kitchen and they won’t add any more cheese… as there is enough on your pizza…

Food came in an acceptable time, but my pizza was stone cold… it had evidently being sitting around waiting for the other dishes. When I raised this with the waiter, he grunted and took it away… It took over 20 minutes for it to be replaced with a sarcastic comment about this one being warm enough for me?

Then he just ignored us when we wanted to pay… serving others but not us… finally he did come back and made a comment they had been busy… but even so…

Perhaps you will be luckier with the food (which everyone likes), and will avoid the...

We visited this place twice. The first time in the afternoon for a snack, where we ordered the cheese platter and some drinks. On the platter was a good variety of cheeses accompanied with De-Li-Cious honey! Yum!

The day after we returned for dinner, again we were seated on the terrace which was pretty full and had a nice atmosphere to it (even for a Tuesday!). The main courses were very good, we had a risotto and a pasta. Unfortunately the desserts didn't quite live up to the...
