The Well Cafe Jesselton Quay — Restaurant in Borneo

Just visited The Well recently, and I really liked it. The vibe here is great – super spacious, clean, and welcoming. I love how they’ve got a mix of different tables too. There are small coffee tables for two, tables for four or six, and even a counter table if you just want to eat on your own. It makes it perfect for any kind of hangout, whether you're solo or with friends.

The food was pretty good too. I had the honey chicken grill with mint sauce. The chicken was tender and juicy, which I loved, but the sauce was a bit on the sour side for me. Maybe that's just how mint sauce is? Not sure, but I still enjoyed the whole meal and finished it!

My friends ordered the creamy tomyam chicken spaghetti and fried chicken with rice, and it's like their third time having the same thing because they love it so much. I tried a bit of the tomyam spaghetti, and I gotta admit, I kind of regretted not ordering that. But hey, there’s always next time!

In search of the best Western mixed Asian cuisine in KK for Mother’s Day, I stumbled upon The Well Cafe, and it exceeded all expectations. Located on the first floor facing PMU Jesselton, the ambiance was perfect for our celebration. The staff were welcoming and attentive throughout our meal, ensuring everything was just right. While every dish was delicious, the mac and cheese, with its unexpected addition of corn, stole the show and was a hit with both adults and children - my nieces devoured it in seconds! Had the 10" Truffle Mushroom Pizza (coz they didn't have the 8") RM33, Spaghetti Seafood Aglio Olio RM28, Hot Cappuccino RM11 and Mocha RM13.

Service was good and food arrived fast. Servers were attentive and friendly.

Pizza has truffle smell but taste a bit mild and needs a bit more cheese. Pasta not bad but the spaghetti needs to cook a bit more, squid was chewy 😬.
