Suria Sabah is hands down one of my favorite spots in Kota Kinabalu! The mall is located right next to the waterfront, offering stunning ocean views — especially from the food court on the top floor. It’s a fantastic place to relax, grab a bite, and soak in the sea breeze while watching the sunset over the Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park.

Shopping-wise, Suria Sabah offers a balanced mix of international brands like H&M, Levi’s, and Cotton On, alongside local boutiques and souvenir stores. It's not as overwhelming as some mega malls, which makes for a more pleasant and stress-free experience.

The food court is surprisingly good! Affordable local delights (try the laksa!) and clean seating areas with plenty of natural light. There's also a cinema (GSC) on the upper level with comfy seats and the latest blockbusters, perfect for a laid-back evening.

Parking is easy and now fully cashless, which makes coming and going a breeze. The mall also feels safe and well-maintained, with clean toilets, prayer rooms, and friendly staff.
