I never understood how someone could give McDonald's a bad rating. It's supposed to be the same everywhere you go right? Well wrong. Today I was enlightened.
First thing to go wrong is the coleslaw I'd ordered and paid extra for was "no longer available". Didn't feel like causing a fuss so accepted the replacement offer of fries. Which were cold and stale when they came. They'd clearly been sitting somewhere for too long.
The chicken was missing from the order. When asked they said they'll bring it later.
The burger was alright. More of the lettuce was in the box than on the burger but that's pretty standard for McDonald's. Part of the experience.
10 minutes later I asked about the chicken again and was told it'd take another 10 mins. What fast food place takes 20 minutes for chicken?!
Also the WiFi was so slow it was unusable. Waiting minutes for loading times just added to the frustration.
I walk away from this experience a wiser man, now understanding the reasoning behind the peculiar 1 star ratings of exceedingly average...

Waited 25 minutes and still did not receive food ordered...and I was waiting at the counter for self pick up...no acknowledgment from staffs that food will be late...understand you are busy...but to wait nearly 30 minutes for 2 set meals is ridiculous...too much emphasise given to food delivery platform and thier orders from what I could see is given priority...i am a paying customer too...finally had enough of waiting and cancelled my order and asked for refund... Please be partial and treat your dine in customers with the gusto that you provide to online food orders... I have frequent this outlet for many years and honestly the service provided is getting worse day to day... Either insufficient training is given or you simply don't care... This is not the first time that I have experience this situation....but I chose to mention this now as this outlet is one of my favourite outlet and it saddens me to see this...
Read moreThe multinational company McDonald’s that has standardised the majority of its menu across the world so that it is quick and easy to produce with the customer getting what they expect where ever they go. Surely manuals and cooking times are the same across the world as well... yet this McDonald’s manages to mess it all up. They can’t seem to deliver you the right order with random different things popping up on your Tray - this is probably laziness. However they can’t seem to cook it either - some how they manage to cook chips either several times over or way longer than needed but still deliver them cold and hard with dark colouring which when looking at other customers trays; they looked all the same. Cold burgers as well. Just avoid and Mc Donald’s should consider looking into...
