Oven & Fried Chicken — Restaurant in Johor

🍗🥘 Food & Taste: Excellent Korean fried chicken. One of the best I would say. The fried chicken tasted very fresh. Crispy and fragrant on the outside, while being so moist and tender on the inside. The serving portion for half is quite generous. Ordered the seafood pancake and it was also good! The pancake light, thin and crispy on the outside but once you bit into it, you will notice it is quite generously stuffed with ingredients. Every bite you taste seafood, either the little prawns or squid pieces.

📍 Place: Very easy to find since it is located along the road going to Mount Austin. There is alot of parking available as well. Seats are very spacious.

🤵🏻 Service: Good service staff. We went in the late morning so the place was just opening. Saw the staff diligently cleaning the store front. They were all very polite and welcoming. After ordering, they served us the condiments that goes with our dishes and the water very promptly. Food was also prepared promptly and well.

💰 Price: Reasonable for such great chicken The fried chicken (half portion) was about 27RM and the seafood pancake was 26RM

🐣Waiting Time: Hardly any waiting time because the staff were all very prompt in serving us.

I occasionally enjoy the chicken here, but this time I was a little disappointed. The fresh chicken is usually white and delicious, but this time, half of the seasoned and fried chicken seemed to have been made with old chicken, as if it had darkened slightly and had a very foul smell, making it inedible. I originally didn't want to write a review, but after reading this, I decided to write here after a few days of deliberation in the hopes that the owner would better educate his employees not to use...

Ordered 2 flavours of OFC chicken Crispy chicken was crispy bec the batter was very thick but the meat was tasteless, no marination at all (2.5*) Soy Sauce chicken was crispy for the same reason, the outer layer coated with good soya sauce and honey which taste great but meat was tasteless, no marination at all (3*)

Steamed Korean Egg was taste good, nice texture and fragrance.(4*)

Seafood stew with ramen was nice but the gravy was too thick.(3.5*)
