We visited this vegetarian restaurant and tried three dishes: Pumpkin Tofu, Nyonya Sambal Ladyfingers, and Salted Egg Abalone Mushrooms.
The Pumpkin Tofu was incredibly soft, smooth, and flavorful—definitely a dish worth ordering. In fact, this was my third time having it! However, at RM19.90 for just six pieces, the portion felt a little small, especially compared to the other dishes.
The Nyonya Sambal Ladyfingers were fresh and cooked just right, but the sambal was disappointing. There wasn’t enough of it, and what was there felt too dry, making it hard to coat the ladyfingers properly. This resulted in a rather bland taste—almost like eating plain steamed ladyfingers. A more generous and moist sambal would definitely improve this dish.
The Salted Egg Abalone Mushrooms were hands down the best dish of the meal! They were crispy, rich in flavor, and super addictive—we couldn’t stop eating them. At RM24.90, it was slightly pricier, but absolutely worth it.
One thing to note: the restaurant only serves oil rice and brown rice, with no plain white rice available.
Overall, the portion sizes (except for the tofu) were quite generous, and we left feeling very full. Despite some minor flaws, the meal was satisfying, and I’d recommend giving this place a try!
