Anuar's Fish Head Curry — Restaurant in Kuala Lumpur

I recently dined at Anuar's Fish Head Curry and, regrettably, it was an experience I won't soon forget. This establishment left a sour taste in my mouth, and not in the way one hopes for when indulging in a delicious fish curry. To put it bluntly, it was the most expensive fish curry I've ever encountered, and it certainly didn't live up to the hefty price tag.

Upon arriving at Anuar's, I was taken aback by the RM100 cost for a portion of their famous fish head curry, which also included squid and fried chicken. While I don't mind paying a premium for exceptional food, I was genuinely shocked at the cost, especially considering what was served.

The first bite was a revelation, and not in a good way. The taste of the fish head curry was overwhelmingly salty. It was as if the chef had mistaken a salt shaker for a seasoning jar. The saltiness masked any subtlety or depth of flavor that a well-prepared fish head curry should possess. It was an unpleasant assault on my taste buds, to say the least.

Adding to the disappointment was the disorganized service. We were kept waiting for an uncomfortably long time, and the staff seemed unprepared to handle the number of diners. It was a chaotic and frustrating experience that left us feeling undervalued as customers.

In the end, I can't help but express my disappointment with Anuar's Fish Head Curry. The exorbitant price, excessively salty food, and disorganized service make it an experience I would not recommend to anyone. It's a true letdown that a restaurant with such a renowned name failed to live up to its reputation during my visit. Starts to get crowded by lunch time. Curry fish head is more "curry powder" style but not as overpowering compared to other places I've tried before. Its just the fish and some lady fingers. Fish is fresh. Liked the fried chicken wings and fried sotong too - decent size and yes more on the salty side. End up packing 2 more pieces of chicken wings and 2x sotong to snack. And the uncle is really polite and nice. Even thanking us for patronising his stall. Even the guy helping to clear up plates and serving drinks also polite to the diners. Very good customer service. No sotong in pic as decided to add on after ordering and too busy eating forgot to take pic! side notes, parking is horrendously challenging in that area! To talk about Annuar's Fish Head Curry, Frankly speaking I'm not a good writer to describe how good it is but anyway allow me to express my personal experiences that i had while my visits...Annuar's Fish Head Curry's taste is Unique and I'm pretty sure that you can't be able to find the same level of taste in any other places out there, as Annuar's Curry is absolutely Homemade Curry powder with special typical indian Spices.

2, Annuar's Fried Chicken's also very Crispy, Freshly fried and Tastier, Well you may ask me What's so special about Annuar's Fish Head Curry's Let me tell you the truth, The main reason being famous it's just because of the Price is soooo CHEAP but the food is simply awesome!!!
