5-Star Review for Arthur’s Storehouse Pavilion
Arthur’s Storehouse at Pavilion is an absolute gem for food lovers seeking bold flavors and hearty meals. My recent dining experience here was nothing short of spectacular, and I’m thrilled to share the details.
We started with the BBQ Hot Wing Glazed with Guinness Sauce, and it was an incredible opener to the meal. The wings were perfectly cooked—crispy on the outside yet juicy inside—and the Guinness glaze added a unique, slightly sweet, smoky depth to the flavor that was simply irresistible.
For mains, we indulged in the Grilled Oink Platter, which was a true feast for pork lovers. The variety on this platter is amazing: the chorizo coiled sausage was bursting with spice, the pork neck was tender and flavorful, the smoked pancetta had a delightful smokiness, and the lagrimas (pork neck cutlets) were perfectly seasoned. The pork chop was thick and juicy, cooked to perfection. The beer gravy added a rich, savory note that tied everything together beautifully, and the side salad provided a refreshing balance.
We also shared the Pappardelle with Pancetta & Guinness Cream, a dish that felt like comfort food elevated to the next level. The wide, silky ribbons of pasta were generously coated in a creamy sauce infused with the deep, malty flavor of Guinness, complemented by the salty pancetta. It was indulgent and deeply satisfying.
For sharing, we ordered the Bulldog Hokkien Noodles and Guinness Lou Shi Fun, both of which were delightful. The Hokkien noodles were packed with wok hei, and the flavors were rich and robust, making it a standout dish. The Guinness Lou Shi Fun was a creative take on the classic, with a velvety sauce that paired beautifully with the chewy texture of the noodles. Both dishes were perfect for sharing among our group.
The service was excellent throughout the meal. The staff were attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, and always ready with recommendations. Despite the high quality and generous portions, the pricing felt very reasonable, offering great value for the overall experience.
Arthur’s Storehouse truly exceeded my expectations. From the perfectly executed dishes to the warm service and fair pricing, it’s a place I’d highly recommend to anyone looking for a memorable meal in Pavilion. I’ll...

My husband and I visited this restaurant for lunch a couple of times, and on both occasions, the food was delightful. The interior boasts dark wood furnishings, a bar counter shaped like a Guinness pint, and quirky wall illustrations, creating a very welcoming ambiance. One unique aspect of this pub is that almost all dishes incorporate beer, particularly Guinness stout. Another fascinating feature is its interactivity—you can have your photo or any image printed directly onto the frothy foam of a Guinness beer, which is quite cool. Appetizers: We started with onion rings and bacon-wrapped pork sausages. The onion rings were well-prepared with a crispy, golden-brown crust. While tasty, I felt they could have had a stronger onion flavor—it leaned more towards resembling a donut. The sausages were delightful, offering a rich meaty taste, and were tender and juicy. However, the casing posed an issue as some inedible pieces had to be removed. Main dishes: The Fish and Chips were outstanding; featuring a thin, crispy crust with a delicious golden color and a tender, juicy fish fillet. The breading adhered well to the fish without falling apart. Served with perfectly cooked French fries on the side. The bacon-stuffed chicken was good, though the chicken itself was slightly dry. While I enjoyed the crust, it lacked juiciness. The pork ribs on the bone were succulent and tender, with the meat easily separating from the bone. The sweetish sauce complemented the meat beautifully, and the meat was juicy and not overly fatty. A highly satisfying dish. This is an excellent restaurant for lunch or dinner, ideal for relaxing with friends over a beer. A beer bar offering delicious food, and we highly recommend this place. Meeting the Russian-speaking waitress was a particularly pleasant touch. She provided excellent service and had a good understanding of the menu, further enhancing our...
Read moreMay’24 weekend lunch hour came here for the Guinness Hokkien Mee. Well, it’s not bad, although you don’t taste the Guinness while having the Hokkien Mee. They use Siew Yuk, which is marinated and tastes delicious when fried with the Hokkien Mee. I found the Siew Yuk inside the Hokkien Mee to be the soul of this dish. Overall, it's not bad, just lacking a bit of flavor, but ingredients like prawn and squid are fresh.
ordered the Guinness 'fall-off the bone’ Iberico pork ribs also. The pork rib is juicy and soft, but it's not well-marinated, lacking a bit of taste. The sauce only coats the outer layer of the pork rib, and it's kind of sweet, but it's not sufficient, and no extra sauce is given. When I requested extra sauce, I was told they have black pepper sauce and Guinness sauce. I do not recommend the Guinness sauce because it's super sweet! Haha, I regretted it! The pork rib has a nice overall texture but lacks sauce & flavor. It comes with truffle smashed potatoes, but I'm not a fan of the truffle flavor.
You can print your picture on your Guinness (available in mug/pint), so it's great for Instagram purposes!
They also sell Guinness merchandise, and you can get a 10% discount on merchandise after dining at the restaurant.
The restaurant encourages you to join their membership program, where they run a point-collecting system: RM1 equals 1 point. Accumulated points can be redeemed for some entrees/starters for free.
The ambiance is nice and clean, making it a great place for friend gatherings or birthday celebrations. Food options may not be extensive at this point, perhaps they’ll introduce more new menus in the future. The staff are friendly and attentive.
Overall, I think it’s worth a try, although the prices are...
