Review of Serai Pavilion KL
As someone deeply involved in the restaurant business, I found Serai Pavilion KL to be a delightful experience worth praising. The restaurant exudes a welcoming vibe that immediately sets the tone for a pleasant dining experience.
One aspect that stood out to me was the care and efficiency demonstrated by the staff. While the silverware and glasses showed signs of wear with scratches, which can be expected from long-term use, it also reflects the dedication of the staff in maintaining their equipment. However, I would recommend considering more frequent replacements of these items to enhance overall presentation.
Moving on to the food, I was thoroughly impressed. Each dish was not only impeccably prepared but also beautifully presented. The flavors were vibrant and authentic, showcasing a true mastery of culinary skills. Whether it was the appetizers, mains, or desserts, every bite was a testament to the chef's expertise and the restaurant's commitment to quality.
In addition to the food, the ambiance of Serai Pavilion KL deserves praise. The decor is tasteful yet cozy, making it a perfect spot for both casual outings and special occasions. The service was attentive without being intrusive, adding to the overall relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere.
Overall, my experience at Serai Pavilion KL was outstanding. Despite minor suggestions for improvement regarding the maintenance of silverware and glasses, I loved every aspect of this place. It's clear that Serai Pavilion KL values excellence in both cuisine and customer experience, making it a must-visit for anyone seeking a memorable dining experience in...
Read moreWaiting time to order quite disspointing despite not many customers, very hard to find the waiter, and the waiting time for order to arrived was quite long too. Waited for 10 mins for waiter to take order, 30 mins for food to arrived. My patience being tested more when an undercooked chicken received for nasi ulam ayam bakar. And we asked the supervisor (name Aming) but he just said the chicken was steamed before grilled. However the chicken was obviously not grilled properly since it was red inside & still uncooked. Totally unacceptable. I was offered for the same chicken to be recooked, i repeat, ‘the same chicken to be recooked’ but I was not convinced that I could eat the same chicken anymore. Then, I just said that’s all you can do for this situation? Without hesitation then we said we will make a review and complaint about this but all he said was “thank you”. So here i am. Obviously ‘zero star’ for Customer service , i dont think thats how you handle a situation of undercooked item to customer especially chicken.i believe the best way is to just give new chicken to the customer. It may result to food poisoning or even worse salmonella. Atleast not for a quite remarkable name like serai. Such a lousy training given to staff And they are quite defensive too. Definitely, not returning to serai pavilion anymore. Such an unpleasant experience i had with...
Read moreMy 1st time in Serai, but could be my last. We came in a group of 20 pax, thinking to celebrate our boss's birthday. 1st thing that puts me off was that they had to impose RM20 corkage charges if we were cut the cake there, perhaps because they have to provide the cutleries. But then, they charged service charges of 10% and it was not that we're just ordering drinks... RM20 was just RM1 for each pax, no big deal, but it's just not worth it. Sometimes you'll need to be smart & flexible when it comes to providing good customer service. Another issue was the food. Though I may consider different dishes will have different outcome, and people have different taste buds as well. Just happened that mine didn't come out right. Ordered the Nasi Ulam Ayam Bakar, the presentation looked good but the taste was far from good. The chicken was dry and tough, while the rice was not fragrant enough and the texture was clumpy/gluggy. The F&B business is very much about the taste, service & location. Sometimes, with just a single bad dish, and a couple of bad reviews, it's enough to pull your business down. The Serai Group is a big F&B business chain, and you may think it won't be affected easily. But are you willing to...
