Big Apple Donuts & Coffee @ Jakel KL — Restaurant in Kuala Lumpur

I recently tried a variety of donuts from this bakery and was blown away by the delicious flavors and unique designs.

The Alien donut was my favorite; Super taste, with a fluffy, sweet dough and just the right amount of icing.

The Californian Almond donut was another standout, with its crunchy almond flakes and subtle almond flavor.

The Swiss Robinson had a more classic look, with a chocolate glaze and chocolate chips sprinkled on top, but the texture was fantastic – dense and chewy.

Hey Nutty was a delightful surprise, with a creamy hazelnut filling and crunchy chocolate pieces.

Hunky Chunk was one of the more indulgent donuts, with its thick caramel glaze and chunks of chocolate and toffee.

And the Pink Twister was a fun, whimsical option with its swirled pink and white frosting and fruity flavors.

The cashier was so rude. She was beyond humiliating for the customer service industry. She yelled at me for asking what is the flavour of some of the doughnuts. I was so shocked. With her annoyed face, she said she don’t know! With such harsh tone. What’s the purpose of hiring staff who don’t even know what she is selling? If you are having a bad day, doesn’t mean you can yell at the customer. I hope the cashier will get some basic customer service...

Surprisingly, these doughnuts were actually really good! Super soft with a lovely filling (though not all of them have filling, just so you know).

If you don’t see the one you want on display, just ask. They’ll make it fresh for you, which is a nice touch.

Definitely worth trying. I honestly prefer these over Dunkin’ and...
