Stepping into Enoshima, I was immediately transported to the heart of Japan. It's not just another Japanese restaurant; it's a culinary journey that begins with authenticity and ends with sheer satisfaction.
First and foremost, the authenticity here is undeniable. With a Japanese owner at the helm, you can expect nothing less than a genuine Japanese dining experience. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with the warm ambiance that sets the stage for a memorable meal.
Now, let's talk about the star of the show - the food. I started my culinary adventure with Tako Wasabi, a refreshing appetizer that kick-started my taste buds. The delightful blend of flavors in this dish was a perfect precursor to what was to come.
Next up, I ventured into the world of ramen with their Tonkotsu Ramen. The rich and flavorful broth was a testament to the skill and dedication of the kitchen. It's safe to say this ramen stands among the best in town.
For those craving something more substantial, the Katsu Don is an absolute must-try. The perfectly breaded and fried cutlet, combined with the savory sauce and fluffy rice, created a harmonious and satisfying dish. It was without a doubt, one of the best I've had in town.
The Zaru Soba is simplicity at its best. It's a dish that speaks to the essence of Japanese cuisine – clean, pure, and perfect. The soba noodles were a delightful revelation.
Moving on to the Tori Karaage, it's not just generous in amount; it's a crispy revelation on the outside and tender on the inside. Whoever is in charge of these masterpieces in the kitchen clearly knows what they're doing.
Their skewers, Sunagimo and Uzura, are nothing short of flavor bombs. Each bite bursts with smoky goodness that's a true delight for the palate.
Now, let's talk portions. Generosity is the name of the game here. Not only are the dishes packed with flavor, but you also get a satisfying amount that leaves you fully content. Each dish served was ample, ensuring you get your money's worth. It's a rare find to encounter such generous portions without compromising on quality.
The ambiance is another feather in Enoshima's cap. The lovely and comfortable setting creates the perfect backdrop for your dining experience. The waitstaff are not just friendly; they add to the overall warmth of the place.
As for convenience, you'll find an abundance of parking available below in Wisma Cosway, and the restaurant is conveniently located within walking distance of Pavillion KL.
In conclusion, Enoshima is a haven for lovers of authentic Japanese cuisine. With a Japanese owner, delectable dishes, and a welcoming atmosphere, it's a culinary gem that deserves to be explored...

The restaurant has a strong Japanese vibe, as if you are dining in a small restaurant in Japan.
Servers were attentive, providing quick and good service.
We ordered some yakitori skewers, tenzaru soba, cabbage with salt, and bitter gourd with sardines (that's what it says on the menu, but it's actually fried crispy small silver bait or ikan bilis) and a grilled Tai head.
My 1st skewer of chicken liver was so good, slightly charred (shown in pix after I'd bit off some). I ordered another stick, and when that was served, it didn't have the char taste/bits, but tasted like it was microwave and drizzled with teriyaki sauce (no pix for this).
The tenzaru soba was not nice. The dipping sauce was not flavourful enough and the wasabi provided had turned sour slightly. I love tenzaru soba and usually I would have eaten everything and drank the sauce as well, but I could not finish this. The 2 pieces of tempura included were also not as good quality. This for RM26.
Besides these 2 dishes, all the other dishes were wonderful. The chicken wings grilled to perfection; the cabbage with salt, so simple but so nice; the bittergourd with ikan bilis was very tasty; the best dish however was the grilled Tai fish head. So perfectly done.
My Yuzu Chuhai was really good as well,...
Read moreHad a great time at this restaurant. Ordered Tantanmen (10/5) A very creamy and slighty spicy broth with some pork mince. The ramen was cook perfectly and its just the perfect warm bowl of ramen. The portion was very filling too; Koebi Karaage (10/5) Perfectly fried crunchy little pieces of fresh shrimp what more can you ask for; Potato Salad (10/5) A bowl of sweet, creamy and humble potato salad with crispy thick cut bacon on top; Zaru Soba (2/5) The soba was cold ad cook preferctly but not sure why there's a fermented smell on the dipping sauce, Beef tongue (the beef tongue is thinly slice and well season but a little too thin 3.8/5); Chicken skin yakitori (which is a little bland for me even with a side of nanami torigashi I think it could use some salt 3/5);
Presentation of the food was excellent and humble. The service is nice and if u went during rush over u will need to wait for a while, but its still rather fast for the food to be served. E-wallet and card are accepted here.
Update visited on May 2025:
The quality of the food has dropped. The service is still fast but the price no longer fits the portion size.
The tan tan men is no longer creamy and it's tasted watery and the food portion seems to have decreased as well. The mentaiko spaghetti tasted good but the portion size doesn't justified the price tag...
