I recently celebrated my birthday at Hannari Sushi Kappou, and it was an unforgettable experience. My wife treated me to this wonderful dinner, and I opted for the Tsubaki Omakase set while she enjoyed the Ajisai Omakase set.

As someone who has enjoyed numerous authentic omakase experiences both in KL and Japan, I can confidently say that Hannari Sushi Kappou truly stands out. The food was simply outstanding, with each dish showcasing the freshest ingredients and impeccable culinary skill. The Tsubaki set, in particular, was a true highlight. The Rainbow Box, filled with uni, sashimi, and ikura, was a burst of flavors and textures. Every bite was a delight, showcasing the chef's dedication to his craft.

Beyond the food, the ambiance was warm and inviting, and the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. They made us feel truly special throughout the evening.

We had an unforgettable dining experience at Hannari, thanks to Chef Hero and the wonderful staff. Chef Hero is incredibly skilled, friendly, and has a remarkable ability to entertain customers in a way that feels natural and never intrusive. The sashimi and nigiri were exceptionally fresh, and Chef Hero generously shared his knowledge and insights about the different types of fish, making the experience even more enriching.

The staff’s attention to detail was exceptional. They quickly noticed that my husband is left-handed and, after a brief adjustment, thoughtfully placed the cutlery to suit him. Chef Hero also showed great attentiveness, skillfully reading our cues and pacing the meal perfectly, slowing down when we were feeling full.

Once again, thank you to Chef Hero and the entire team for making our 7th wedding anniversary such a memorable celebration.

A truly memorable omakase experience. Chef Hiro made me feel like I’m a long lost friend welcomed to his home. Every dish felt personal, like he was sharing his best creations with care and pride.

This isn’t your typical flashy omakase. There are no smoke effects, no gold flakes, no over-the-top theatrics and honestly that’s what makes it special. The focus is purely on taste, the idea behind the dish and it delivers.

Each course was thoughtfully composed with textures and flavours that truly reflect Chef Hiro’s passion and skill. It’s rare to find an omakase that feels this genuine. Chef Hiro is not only talented but also warm, charismatic, and engaging. I truly felt like I was dining in his home in Japan. He even gave us onigiris as souvenirs to takeaway for breakfast the next day.
