If you find yourself in the bustling Bukit Bintang area, this hidden gelato gem is definitely worth a stop. Located right across from a popular durian stall, this spot offers a refreshing escape with its wide variety of gelato flavors that range from sweet and fruity to tangy and indulgent.
During my visit, I opted for the Banana Split (RM25), which comes with three scoops of your choice. I went with Passion Fruit Sorbet, Coconut Gelato and Pretzel Chocolate Ricotta - each offering a unique flavor profile. The Passion Fruit Sorbet was beautifully tangy, providing a zesty kick that balanced the creaminess of the Coconut Gelato , which had a rich, strong coconut flavor. But the true standout was the Pretzel Chocolate Ricotta. It had a delicious caramel and vanilla sweetness, complemented by the occasional saltiness of the pretzel bitsâa perfect combination of flavors and textures.
The only slight downside was the banana, which was a bit on the firm side, but it didnât detract from the overall experience. Despite that, everything else was spot-on, with each scoop offering a generous helping of flavor and texture.
At RM12 per scoop, the pricing is reasonable considering the quality, and I can already tell Iâll be back to try more options. Next on my list? The premium Ferrero Rocher gelatoâdefinitely a solo indulgence. If youâre in the area and craving a sweet treat, this gelato place should definitely be...

This means an order of 2 different flavours would get served 1 on top of the other. Instead of side by side.
So u gotta eat up quite a significant portion of the top layer before you could get to the 2nd flavour which is stuffed beneath. And after all the hurry and anticipation, i realised the flavour beneath was just really quite meh.... and both are too sweet for my liking.
New to JJG and didn't ask to try out the flavours. Both of which selected are really the typical classic gelato flavours anyway. And since i read that they use milk from Bright Cow, didn't so much think that the experience would turn out to be so turn-offish.
Oh boy, but it did. The wonder (read horror) of handing out a double-scoop in a cup meant for single-scoop.
It's just quite a torture which you probably wouldn't think is gonna be until you realised how sucky it gets when the ice-cream on top starts melting faster than you imagine and could get to the other flavour beneath.
Before long, i got a vanilla waterfall dripping profusely down the circumference of the petite single-scoop cup while I'm still digging my way down for the other flavour. Almost felt like a 5 year-old who created a mess out of an ice-cream. Except it's very uncute for a grown-up.
