DÔME (Lalaport) — Restaurant in Kuala Lumpur

To be honest, I was expecting "more" at the price point they charge for Food. Also be Warned: their card machine often has no connection. The Staff told me its regular occurance. Thank goodness I had cash with me but the couple sitting next to my table did not so the Gentleman was forced to withdraw cash from ATM-which is a freaking hassle. What irked me is that the Staff did not gave notice beforehand that customers might require to pay with cash due to their unstable card machine connection. Not everyone carries huge amount of cash when going to the mall these days.

Ordered a Wagyu Burger. The Burger itself is nice, flavorful, and has good portion but man oh man, the Fries and Side Salad are dissapointing. The fries are those frozen ones-they're dry and chewy and too salty, and the side salad does not have dressing-not even lemon juice or balsamic. At that price point, I could get the same portion of Burger with home-made potato wedges and side salads with dressing at the caffee next door.

Coffee is EXCELLENT! The blend is good, with just the right amount of acidity and bitterness. I mean, yeah, DOME is really known for their Coffee and not much else, but, I was expecting more...

I visited Dome Cafe at Lalaport BBCC on Hari Wilayah, a public holiday. The ambiance was pleasant, and the overall service was commendable, but an encounter with the Assistant Manager left me with mixed feelings.

The culinary delights were a highlight - the carrot cake was truly amazing, accompanied by a beautiful hot chocolate topped with two marshmallows and four delectable soft cookies. The flavors were delightful, although the cookies leaned towards the sweeter side.

However, my overall satisfaction was marred by an unfortunate incident with the Assistant Manager, a lady whose demeanor was quite disappointing. Despite waving to catch her attention, she blatantly ignored us. Thankfully, a very friendly staff member came to our aid, salvaging the positive experience we had enjoyed until then.

While the majority of the staff contributed positively to my visit, the indifferent attitude of the Assistant Manager stood out negatively. We hope this feedback helps improve the overall service at Dome Cafe, Lalaport BBCC, ensuring that every customer receives the excellent service the establishment is capable...

Hi I’m writing this review because the service here is really unprofessional. I ordered one cha que tiao, 2 ice peach teas and one ice lemon tea.me and my friends originally wanted to Oder pizza but the waiter told us it was already sold out. which is absolutely fine.

The problem is why would you charge a customer for something that’s already sold out? Imagine paying a 100 plus for something you DIDNT order. Not only that. They can’t do refunds. Even though I AM willing to go there physically and show them the reciept. and when I asked them over the phone on why they still charged me for an overpriced pizza that NO ONE ate, they stayed quiet for about 5 minutes on the phone. No explanation. I feel that the least they could do is apologize SINCERELY for charging their customers for things they DID NOT ORDER. Please as a restaurant you have to understand that I payed money to eat what I wanted. Not what I didn’t want. Or let alone even eat.

I don’t think this is something worth writing for but unfortunately this is the bare minimum as a restaurant....
