We found this place on Google maps and it had a really high rating. It’s a bit like a hole in the wall restaurant next to a mechanic shop.
When we walked up we were warmly welcomed in. We sat in the air conditioned section and as soon as we sat down they proceeded to give us food on a banana leaf. We didn’t even get a menu or placed an ordered. We were a bit nervous since we didn’t have any control and didn’t even know how much we’d pay.
They started by giving us 4 veggie side dishes served on a massive banana leaf that would serve as our plates. Then giant scoops of rice were given to us. After that the friendly gentleman took us to the buffet and asked us what we wanted. Instead of us grabbing it ourselves, we just picked and then he later brought it to us.
We were treated exceptionally well and a bit different than the locals who were eating there. When I mean different, I mean it in a good way, as they were really attentive to us and wanted to make sure we enjoyed our experience there.
I was worried about the bill because I had. Idea what the cost would be. I figured if they had charge us anymore than $10 CAD per person I would know were getting ripped off. The bill came and it was 44 MYR which is about $12 CAD… for the both of us!
Thank you for the great meal and service! We will come back again one day when we return to KL, because you made a lasting...

Read moreI am a tourist from Chennai and stayed near this restaurant and went to this on first day morning for breakfast. I really enjoyed the variety and the taste of food.Being a vegetarian this restaurant offered me good varieties of food options for vegetarian as well. The kids loved the food ,its not spicy and some of the vegetable curries were unique to malaysian and we have tasted it for the fist time. The meals are available from morning 10 am itself and i loved the varieties that they had in meals. If you are from South India there are saravana bhavan ,amman mess,A2b and other restaurants but this one gives the local food taste that matches to our taste and budget friendly. If you are looking for a posh ambience then you might not...
