They have Onigiris, Rice/Noodles Mains, Sides/Snacks, Dashi meals, Handrolls). Default ordering style is through QR code on phone. The seats are 2 to 4 person seatings but technically you can merge tables for up to 14 people.
Food: Onigiri Set 3.5 🌟 Priced at Rm 14.50. Comes with 2 Onigiri of your choice. Each of them in ala carte is from Rm 3.90 (Category 1) to 4.80 (Category 3). Comes with a small portion of Potato Salad, Miso Soup, Chicken Karage but Karage is cold/not super nice though. Top up Rm 3 for bottomless green tea (self service refill near the bar). This is a complete meal by itself especially for ladies or smaller eaters. For guys you may need 1 more Onigiri or some sides. The size of each Onigiri is about half a bowl of rice (or about 4-5 pieces of sushi). There are 4 different categories of Onigiri grouped by pricings from Rm 3.80, 4.30, 4.80, 5.30 depending on fillings. If you want bigger, they have Handrolls from Rm 6.90 to 7.90 (currently out of stock).
The Onigiri in general the rice is a bit fluffy as it is not over pressed/squeezed them together. I like how fresh these Onigiris(rice) feel as compared to the ones you buy branded convenience stores. Also the toppings seems to be spreaded across the rice (instead of just in the middle). The seaweed isn't like the super dry ones you usually see (feels cooked together with the rice) 😅
Onigiri: Tobiko 3.25 🌟 Category 3 (Rm 4.80 each). Fillings seem the same as Ebiko but quite plenty and rice is pretty well done. I don't think they add much other sauces (other than basic ones like vinegar I think) which can be good for you to taste the ingredients itself better. Feel free to add dashes of spices or drops of soy sauce if need be.
Onigiri: Furikake 3.5 🌟 Category 3 (Rm 4.80 each). Seems to have a few types of combination of fillings (can't tell what it is) but the taste is quite subtle with the exception of some mayo inside (I think).
Onigiri: Avocado Tuna 3.25 🌟 Category 4 (Rm 5.30 each).
Onigiri: Okaka 3.5🌟 Category 2 (Rm 4.30 each).
Onigiri: Ebiko 3.25🌟 Category 2 (Rm 4.30 each).
Onigiri: Katsuobushi 2.75🌟 Category 2 (Rm 4.30 each).
Onigiri: Tanuki 3.25🌟 Category 2 (Rm 4.30 each).
Onigiri: Egg Mayo 3🌟 Category 1...

Update 7/1/2024: Dropping 2 stars because I think you need to improve your wrapping method. I always buy Family Mart Onigiri and never had issues unwrapping the onigiri. From tearing the strip to pulling out plastic from both sides, the rice inside never fall out and I still managed to hold the rice well with the seaweed and eat without mess. But a few times I takeaway your onigiri, it was always a mess as the strip couldn’t being pulled out smoothly, always causing the rice inside to collapse, we ended up eating like a total mess, seaweed is not holding the rice, the rice keeps on falling out, hard to chew off the seaweed etc. it just wasn’t a pleasant experience although your food quality is super good . The invention of onigiri is supposed to give convenience to people to eat with just bare hands, but I ended up have to use plate, fork and spoon to catch the falling pieces. It’s just purely disaster.
Update 30/12/23: Open time stated in Google isn’t the same as their exact open time. Went there 8.20AM but their staff said “Belum buka”. Told him the Google stated open already but he also never tried to clarify. —————————————-
Very good. Portion big, price reasonable....
Read moreAs a regular customer who has been visiting every 1-2 weeks for over a year, I must say my experience with the Onigiri set has become increasingly disappointing. Before the renovation, the set included three rice balls to choose from and at least 3-4 pieces of fried chicken. Post-renovation, however, it seems like cost-cutting measures have taken a toll on both the portions and quality of the food.
Today’s visit left me shocked. The fried chicken portion was nothing but a few scraps of chicken skin—barely enough to even call it a meal. And the rice balls? Reduced to just two options instead of three. For anyone considering ordering this set, it’s unlikely to be filling or worth the price anymore.
To make matters worse, the box for utensils is always empty. This isn’t a one-time issue—I’ve encountered this every single visit. Staff also seem indifferent, never checking or refilling the utensil box even after clearing tables.
The overall decline in food portions, quality, and service is unacceptable. I can’t recommend this place to anyone anymore unless management addresses these concerns. A response from the management team would be appreciated, but for now, this restaurant has become a major...
