Read moreRestoran Ahmad Muzakin is a must-visit for anyone craving hearty and flavorful Halal dishes. The Claypot Chicken Rice is the star of the show. The rice, perfectly cooked in a claypot, has that smoky, burnt aroma that adds so much depth. The chicken is tender, juicy, and well-seasoned, and the addition of salted fish on top gives the dish an extra layer of umami that makes each bite memorable. The accompanying Onion Slices with Soy Sauce are a tangy and refreshing contrast that balances the richness of the rice.
Another standout is the Ginger Chicken — full of flavor and spice, it’s tender with just the right amount of ginger kick.
The Watermelon Juice is incredibly refreshing, perfect for cutting through the heat of the dishes. The restaurant is clean and well-maintained, with great service from the friendly staff. The dishes are all cooked by a Malay aunt, who adds a personal touch to every meal. The portion sizes are generous, making it an excellent choice for sharing.
The only downside is the challenging parking situation, but the food and service make up for it. Highly recommended for a...

That said, i did appreciate that the sotong goreng tepung wasn’t the overly-battered kind. The lighter coating worked well esp since we were already starting to get overwhelmed with all the heavy food.
Only downside beyond the saltiness is that parking can be a bit tricky in the area, just something to note.
All in all, decent spot with generous portions but go easy on the ordering (and maybe bring more makan buddies to...
