I am a huge fan of your restaurant but my dining experience on the 3rd of May (2023) was less than satisfactory. A friend of my rightfully pointed out that it was hot and stuffy in the restaurant and your staff's immediate rudely toned response was "No!" and we initially thought he was kidding so I repeated the question and he rudely replied "We'll only turn the AC on when there are more guests! Not Now!"
The food quality feels worse than before as well. I ordered Kunafa assuming that it'll be freshly prepared and instead we got a Kunafa which was god knows how many days old that was microwaved. The first time it came out, it was not even properly heated up so I got annoyed and I pointed out to the server that he needs to heat it up more. (This was after the AC debacle mentioned above and I was quite annoyed at this point)
After re-heating it, it was still not hot enough as a Kunafa should be and he tried to justify it by saying "Its actually hot, touch the bottom part of the tupperware" which was true but the rest of the Kunafa from the top and middle was still cold.
Last but not least, your portion sizes are not upto par with other restaurants. We were 8 people and we spent around RM400 which is RM50 per person but we walked out of the restaurant feeling quite hungry. In any other middle eastern restaurant, you can order an individual dish for RM 15 (low-end) to RM 30 (high-end) and get a milkshake on the side and still have money left.

Restaurant is very clean and tidy. Atmosphere is cool. Staff are friendly and at the service whenever they’re called. Seating of the restaurant is very organized and suitable for gatherings of friends, colleagues and even family members.
One of the things that I really loved about the restaurant is that it had a small masjid for us Muslims to pray our 5 daily prayers. The owner is a really good human for saving space for this.
Coming to the main thing which is food, it is always served fresh. Arabic food never disappoints. Way better than European and American and is filling. Beef and chicken kebabs are very delicious along with the fresh Mandi rice which is a must try when dining in. Fresh fruits are served after the main course. Baqlawa and basboosa are served as a dessert. Fresh juices are also served as Orange & watermelon. They were all perfect.
All on all 9/10 as this restaurant had it all. Good and easily accessed location, friendly staff, mini masjid, fresh food that keeps you asking for more, hygiene, organized seating.
Would definitely recommend eating at Hadramawt palace when staying over in Kuala Lumpur. Best Arabic restaurant...
Read moreI had a wonderful dining experience at Restoran Hadramawt Palace, where the atmosphere was warm and inviting with authentic Middle Eastern décor that immediately set the tone for an enjoyable meal. The food was exceptional—freshly prepared, flavorful, and beautifully presented, with the mandi rice cooked to perfection and the lamb tender, juicy, and well-seasoned with spices that reflected true Yemeni traditions. The side dishes such as hummus, mutabbal, and freshly baked bread complemented the mains perfectly, and the generous portion sizes made the meal both satisfying and great value for money. Service was equally impressive, as the staff were attentive, courteous, and knowledgeable about the menu, offering helpful recommendations and ensuring everything was served promptly with genuine hospitality that made me feel welcome. The calm, family-friendly environment and clean setting further enhanced the overall experience, making this restaurant suitable for both casual gatherings and special occasions. Overall, Restoran Hadramawt Palace is a fantastic place to enjoy authentic Arabian cuisine paired with excellent service, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for quality food in a...
