Malay boy with the ponytail and another one whose name starts with 'Q' need better training in customer service and common sense.

I tried to help by personally explaining to the ponytail kid that he should call the drink out instead of just leaving it on the counter, especially since the customer is sitting directly across from the counter with my back to it.

Didn't wanna deliver the advice loudly from where I was sitting 'cos it would've embarrassed him in front of his lil crush also sitting at the communal table. Lol. Too bad he didn't seem receptive to it – was busy on his phone and trying to look "cool" even with Dennis, who I assume is a supervisor, standing next to him.

Some of these Malay kids like Ponytail and Q need basic things explained to them, so help them out as customers so that not just society, but the Malays can finally advance as a group.

Imagine being repelled as a long-time regular at this outlet not because of the serious Israel-Palestine conflict M'sia has no control over but because of two clowns....

Review is for the outlet on the ground level. Not the spiffy-est but it was clean, not crowded and quiet enough to get some work done.

I thought the staff could have used some coffee themselves 🤭 a smile would have been nice.

We enjoyed our drinks but would rather have had our hot coffee served out of mugs than paper cups. Hope Starbucks Malaysia/ Berjaya Food will play their part in being more eco friendly & reduce wastage 🌱🌱

Ps. Just to confirm there IS a RM1 charge for plain water. Starbucks should really review this for paying customers! Most coffee places serve complimentary water with their coffee!

Pastry tip: Skip the pastries here and go over to Ben‘s at Bangsar Village I. It’s just as pricey but...

The ladies in the shop, two mature ladies were wonderful. They know what good customer service is and I suspect run a tight ship there.
