No menus on table or around the place. Approached a man who was cooking and he said someone will come over to let us order. A lady then passed us a phone for us to order through some kind of app. Very confusing as there were different prices for the same item (e.g. Roti Canai has 3 separate photos with pricing of RM2, RM3.50, RM4). I clicked on a photo thinking that it would bring me to another page giving more details (as in most other ordering apps) but it straightaway added the item into the cart instead. So I asked the man what’s the difference between the 3 options for Roti Canai but he didn’t seem to know. Anyway I ordered the RM2 one on the app together with other items and passed the phone back to the lady.
To my surprise she said no Roti Canai, which the man should have known and then informed me in the first place when I asked about Roti Canai right? Then I wanted to order Nasi Lemak but the lady said just sold out! We were there at 9+ in the morning, so either it was sooo popular that it sold out early or they are not serious about business and didn’t prepare enough food?
Maybe my expectations were high because of the 4.7 stars rating. But honestly I find the food so so only, though price wise it is cheap considering it is in KL.
My suggestion to avoid the disappointments we went through: Know what you want to order beforehand so you can just order verbally with the man. No need to go through the phone ordering. Check and confirm if the food you want is available...

Their roti canai is a standout—fluffy, crispy, and served with delicious dhal and curry. The nasi lemak is another highlight, with fragrant coconut rice and perfectly spiced sambal. Pair these with a hot cup of teh tarik for a classic Malaysian experience.

Read moreWe went around 530pm on a week night and were warmly welcomed by the team. We were promptly invited to sit anywhere, and a menu was presented for us to choose from. A great variety of local dishes and the server was more than happy to explain all the items. The one thing missing from the menu was prices. However, the server again was able to tell us the pricing with no problems. We ordered the roti canai, mee goreng, iced lemon tea, and a lime soda. All food was freshly cooked to order and tasted very good. The roti was both flaky and fluffy, and the dahl and curry gravy were very tasty. The mee goreng was a huge portion and just spicy enough to enjoy with the cold, sweet beverages. There was a fresh buffet style option, which seemed very popular, and we may try this another day. Our meals and drinks came to around RM20, which is incredible value. The restaurant was very clean and we would definitely...
