This hotel is conveniently located near a few of the main attractions in Kuala Lumpur. It's a short walk away from the Pavilion shopping center, as well as the Petronas Towers, Aquarium, Suria mall, KLCC Park and more.
The suite we were in was clean, neat and modern. We stayed for 8 nights and got it at a good price. We did, however, have plumbing issues during our stay, and we noticed some mold on the ceiling in the shower. The beds were also really hard.
The best thing about this hotel is the infinity pools and the breathtaking views of the city from the 52nd floor.
Now, with that being said, I would have rated it much higher if it wasn't for the poor service we received. When we arrived, instead of checking in at the beautiful reception area, we were taken to a makeshift private office in the parking area. The guy who assisted us seemed to be in a rush, and hastened us to sign (even though we needed time to read through the form), and was all too eager to take our deposit money. He gave us his WhatsApp contact number in case we needed anything. During our stay, when we had questions and contacted him, he took his time to respond, and there always seemed to be a misunderstanding, most likely due to our language differences.
Because our check-out time fell outside of the normal check-out hours listed on their site, we brought it up with him a few times, and he said all would be OK. 30 Minutes before we checked out, we sent him a message to let him know we'll be down soon. He then told us that he could not assist us because it was outside of the normal hours (even though he previously said it's fine!). Since we needed to catch our flight home, we insisted, so he eventually told us to go to reception where he'd meet us. We then asked if we'll get our deposit back, and he initially refused. After some back-and-forth, he said he'll deposit our money into a PayPal account, which we didn't have. We gave him the money in cash, so we expected it back in cash. My husband eventually went to him and basically had to beg for OUR money back. We left the hotel room in a good condition, didn't even use the towels, so there was no reason for us be refused. Unfortunately, due to this man's lack of hospitality, we ended our stay...
Read moreWhile the location was convenient with nearby restaurants and bars, and the room/unit was very clean, the overall experience was marred by several issues that need to be addressed.||First and foremost, the check-in process was utterly ridiculous. The check-in counter located inside a car park at the end of the building was not only inconvenient but also unprofessional. Given that the property functions as a condominium with some units rented out through Airbnb by "Perfect Host," the check-in setup was chaotic and disorganized.||Furthermore, the fact that we were provided with only one set of key and key card for a room accommodating three guests was highly impractical. This restriction hindered our ability to carry out individual errands and forced us to stick together at all times. The requirement of a RM300 down payment for an additional set of key and key card was unjustified and unreasonable, especially considering the excuse provided regarding the supposed costliness of the key card.||Moreover, the lack of proper guidance on basic amenities such as the rubbish disposal area, pool, and gym was disappointing. Being instructed to dispose of our own rubbish without clear directions and subsequently penalized for any oversight in rubbish disposal is unacceptable. Additionally, the imposition of a penalty charge for a minor stain on a bath towel upon check-out, despite being given only one towel per person for a multi-night stay, was unwarranted and excessive.||Overall, the combination of these issues has left a lasting negative impression on my experience at Pavilion Ceylon Hill Service Apartment. I am deeply dissatisfied with the level of service and attention to guest needs displayed during my stay, and as a result, I will not be returning to this establishment nor recommending...
Read moreRecently spent 3 months in Malaysia travelling around. Used this location as I had storage in the area. The apartments are fairly spacious and well equipped. Although every time we stopped (in a different apartment) there was maintenance that clearly wasnât getting done. The big thing that lets it down is its management staff. You have to request cooking utensils as they donât come as standard weirdly. So I regularly used the âspecial requestâ area of the booking process to request this. Not once did they bother to read the request and action it. Often Iâd have to go back to them to organise. On one of my bookings we got stuck in KK on Borneo after a volcano eruption grounded all aircraft. Frantically trying to reroute (not possible) and sort alternative accommodation in Borneo I contacted âperfect hostâ who manage these apartments. Not seeking a refund, just to amend the dates. Initially got fobbed off, then after a negative review they stated they were here to help as much as possible and if I contact the booking agent they would authorise the cancellation and I could rebook. ||Cancelled the booking as they requested and then they went silent. Wouldnât respond to any of my messages or emails. And booking agent confirmed they werenât offering a refund or change of dates. Baring in mind it was an unfolding potential natural disaster youâd think âperfect hostâ would have shown some consideration and empathy, but nothing. I would absolutely not recommend anyone stay here unless you can find an apartment that isnât managed by âperfect hostâ...
