OLDTOWN White Coffee @ Cenang Mall — Restaurant in Langkawi Island

good location in Cenang Mall. the menu are limited. the foods served were soo oily and the taste is different from other outlet. the worse part is - the staffs. I m the only customer at +-1130am that time. I sat there and then choose my meals from the menu, the press the button to orders. I did press for 3 times but no one is coming to take my order. after 10 minutes I press the call button once again and a staff came to take my order. I did ask if the button was.not functioning but she told me no, its functioning. then she took the order and went away.

I received my order within 15 minutes. the foods were so oily and the taste was totally out. one of the ceiling fan in the premise was so noisy plus one of the staff did the windows cleaning at that time - while I was having my meal!

When I did the payment, no smile and no manners for customer service at all. I hope the management should do something with their staffs for the customer service and...

Each morning I start my day at OldTown. In the past month I’ve visited 7 wonderful locations, throughout Malaysia, and 1 awful location. You guessed it, Langkawi OldTown is that 1.

The location is understaffed, (even during Chinese New Year,) which results in several tables piled with dirty dishes at any given time. The service is a joke. There is a long wait for your order to be taken. Once my order was even forgotten. The iced coffees are not filled properly to the top. Several menu items, routinely available at other OldTown’s are missing from the menu. There is a 30RM minimum for credit cards. Lastly the staff knows nothing of hospitality....no smiles and not even an acknowledgement when you say thank you to them

The only thing keeping this place open is a captive tourist...

Came here a few times back in March before the lockdown. This branch of Old Town White Coffee has a decent range of coffees and food. Not including the side orders, there’s only one meal on the menu that’s vegetarian and that’s the Vegetarian Curry Rice. The curry is South-East Asian style, which I much prefer to South Asian style. I thought the meal were very tasty.

I’ve had the mocha and hazelnut coffees, both of which I thought were very smooth, not too sweet and very good. The coffee comes in a smaller cup here, but it’s also cheaper. You can go large with the coffee for a small amount, which would be closer to a normal sized cup of coffee.

The wait staff were always friendly...
