Out of nowhere saw this new vietnamese restaurant, owner said they just opened for dine in. Ok let's try!
Entering the shop we were welcome by a foggy and smoky ambience, like someone just finished their Bbq activity on the table and the smoke nowhere to escape.
We ordered red noodle soup, salty glutinous rice, grilled meat bread and Vietnam coffee hot. The noodle soup and coffee looks most similar to the photo, while the other 2 looks lacking some fullness in the ingredients and portion.
Noodle and soup has hint of fish sauce and mild spicy, taste is unique. Glutinous rice in picture show has lap chiong " Chinese sausage " but the actual product can't find this ingredient.
The bread is typical vietnam loaf, but the actual grilled meat was a lot less than photo, so be aware if you want to order.
Best drink to top all the food is Vietnam coffee, the owner offered to add condensed milk if too bitter, but we liked the extra punch from the thick brew.

ย ย ย Read moreSpotted this place while I and my girlfriend were waiting to dine at the Tong Sheng restaurant across the street. The line was crazy we waited more than 1 hour and couldn't get in so we decided to go to this restaurant instead.
Let me tell you, you will not be disappointed!!!!! They took no time to bring out the order, and their food tastes amazing. We ordered several dishes such as the grilled pork breast, squid egg boiled with ginger and spring onion (this dish is not on the menu but they improvised to make it), grilled shrimps, pan-fried blood cockle with tamarind sauce, grilled oysters with onion. All of them was so delicious I almost swallowed my tongue. I ate these dishes in some Vietnamese restaurants in KL but they can only be considered good, not great like this. If you want to eat Vietnamese food this is the place to go to. We surely did not regret abandoning the queue at the Tong Sheng restaurant for this.
Just note that they do not work on...
